Extremities

The extremities hold a particular position within reconstructive surgery because they are often injured. A large amount of reconstructive measures have to be taken especially to the lower extremities due to motorcycle or car accidents or other accidents happening around the house or at work. Reconstruction is even more difficult here because the extremities do not usually have a lot of local tissue to cover the injury so that exposed bones, vessels or nerves have to be covered through microsurgical means. We have a lot of experience, especially in the field of reconstructive surgery, and are able to work out a plan for therapy with the patient, even in difficult cases. This can lead to a satisfactory closure of the defect.
